Girls lacrosse had an epic battle against Rundlett. It was tied close to the end of the final quarter 7-7. Lea M scored 5 goals and Sidney B added 2 goals. Nice job defending the net Julia F and Willow M. Shoutout to Brynnley M and Emilia S for playing various positions .
The softball team lost to Auburn yesterday. The team was lead in hitting by Kendall L. with 2 singles. Avery B. and Kelly C. both had key catches in the outfield.

On 5-4, 7 HMS musicians participated in the NHMEA District MS Festival. Abby B, Aubrey P, Emma M and Maya M-with the chorus + Dylan B, Jaxon C, and Emily S-with the band. After a full day of rehearsal with guest conductors they presented a fantastic concert in the afternoon.

G lacrosse won their 2nd game 8-6 vs. Litchfield. Brinn O played great offensively + defensively. Tess M made great saves to help the Hawks win! With the cold/rainy weather the girls did a great job of upholding their positive attitudes and great sportsmanship through a battle!

The baseball team had several players who turned in outstanding performances against Litchfield. Chase M, Matteo M and Tanner T played well yesterday.
It’s been a long time and today was sweet revenge! The softball team beat Litchfield 7-4 with their home opener. Kayla O smacked 2 doubles, had 3 hits + 3 RBI’s to lead the team. Charlise L had a 2 huge hits and 1 RBI along with several amazing catches.
Catcher Emily N added 2 hits for the team. The winning pitcher Kendall LeBel struck out 7 batters! Congratulations to the whole team!

On Tuesday Laura Johnston & Tara Pollard presented “Hacking Leadership - Community Based Learning '' at the NH Superintendents Association Innovation Conference in Concord! They provided an overview of a new pilot curriculum with their experiential learning at HMS to a room full of leaders from around the state. This new class was created to combine direct instruction with generalization of skills through local and regional community partnerships. The presentation featured their work at the St. Anne’s Food Pantry, highlighted our partnership with Northeast Passage Adaptive Recreation Program, had videos about their homegrown “supply guys” delivery service and more. Using research-based instructional material, areas of focus include interpersonal communication, community service, regulation, nutrition, body wellness and functional math and reading concepts. A
