The girls soccer team played a tough one against Auburn yesterday that ended up in a 2-2 tie. Our Hawks took a 2-0 lead halfway through the 2nd half but Auburn scored 2 late goals to tie it up before the end of regulation. They take on Sanborn this Wednesday on the road again as they look to bounce back and get another win. Good luck and go Hawks!

Hawks field hockey took on Cawley yesterday. Unfortunately, the Hawks were defeated 4-1, but the Hawks worked together as a team to get their first goal of the season, scored by Ella W! Emily S has had some key saves in goal so far this season, yesterday included. Way to go! Great team effort put forth by all players in the fourth quarter where they really worked hard to put their coaches feedback into motion. The Hawks are on the road again today taking on Hollis in their third game of the season!

In an exhilarating match against Auburn, the boys' soccer team emerged victorious with a nail-biting score of 5-4. Quinn B and Brody F each netted two goals, while Beckett Y contributed one to seal the win for the team. Defensively, Emilio D and Matteo M showcased outstanding skills, shutting down the Auburn offense. Goalkeeper Jacob G made a series of impressive saves, keeping his team in the game. Meanwhile, Finn J and Bryce M demonstrated exceptional teamwork with their seamless movement of the ball. It was a thrilling game filled with determination and skill, and the boys' relentless effort paid off in this hard-fought victory!

Thank you Pinkerton Academy Leadership Council of athletics for visiting with our staff and students today!

The hawks field hockey team played hard in their first season game against Milford. The girls came out strong and gave it their all start to finish in a tough battle. Ultimately the game concluded in a 0-0 shutout. We are excited to take on Cawley on the road Monday. Go Hawks!

In an exhilarating kickoff to the boys soccer season, the team showcased their dominance with a resounding 5-0 victory over their opponents. The offense was on fire, with standout performances from Finn J, Brody F, Bryce M, and Beckett Y, each contributing to the scoreboard and setting the tone for the season ahead. Defensively, the team was equally impressive, with Carter B, Matteo M, and Brody L forming a solid wall that kept the opposing team at bay. Goalkeepers Jacob G and Jaxon C exhibited exceptional skill, making crucial saves that preserved the shutout. With this powerful start, the team is poised for an exciting season ahead!

Our girls soccer team began their title defense with a 6-1 win over Sanborn yesterday to begin their season. They look to continue the strong start with 3 games next week as they take on Auburn on the road next Monday. Good luck and go Hawks!
