
Boys LAX beat Auburn on 5-15 and improved to 4-1 on the season. Sam P and Austin F each netted 2. Gavin M had 1 goal and earned the Game Ball in his middle school debut. Avery D along with the rest of the defense played well while Reece B dominated at faceoffs.


Girls LAX remains undefeated after a 22-11 win vs Auburn. Goals by Lea M, Leah A, Gracie P, Abby E, Anna V, Sidney B, Brinn O, Nora B, Eloise J, Avery M, Elizabeth P, + a coast to coast by Tessa M. Another great game for this amazing team. The girls play Cawley on Monday at home.


The Hawks Golf Team had their second match of the season against Shaker Road School... Dylan B, Christian M, Cole J and Braden L all played well.


The softball team lost to Chester. Lydia U did a great job on defense and hit two singles. Julia D had an amazing bunt moving all runs to the next base. Emily N struck out 8 batters.

G LAX remains undefeated after their 16-5 win against Litchfield! Catalina S. held strong on defense helping Tess M in goal. Brinn O. -leading scorer with 5 goals followed closely by Emelia S. Other goals were contributed by Julia F, Abby E, Gracie P, Anna V, and Elizabeth P.


The baseball team played a hard-fought game yesterday in Manchester. Unfortunately, the Hawks dropped a close game to St. Joe's by a 5-4 score. Playing well for Hampstead was Brogan E, Langdon A, Landon C and Tanner T.


On May 10, 6 HMS musicians took part in the NHMEA Southeast District Middle School Music Festival at Dover High School. Abby B, Maya M and Aubrey P sang in the choir and Dylan B, Jaxon C, and Emily S played in the band. Congratulations to our musicians on your achievements!!


The HMS Hawks Golf Team had their first match of the season against Pelham. Ayla E, Elsa D, Lena C, Braden L, and Christian M all had strong outings to start off the season.


What a great end to STEM Explorers this year. Students experimented with the effect of Mentos on different flavors of soda. They made hypotheses on which soda they thought would have the tallest reaction! Thank you Mrs. Grant and Mr. Remillard for a GREAT program!





Boys Lacrosse traveled to Derryfield and played their most competitive game of the season. Gunnar B had an outstanding game in net allowing for us to come out on top once again. Josh O played effective, heads up defense which thwarted the Cougars offensive efforts. Carter B scored his first goal of the season and earned himself the Game Ball for his two-way midfield play. Hunter E remained penalty-free while he along with Dominick S and Brody L all having a strong game at midfield. Great game boys!


The HMS softball team lost to Litchfield. Charlotte B, Shea St. O and Lydia U all had singles. Nice defensive plays by Jaylen L and Ashtyn E.


B Lacrosse beat Rundlett yesterday in their home opener. The Hawks offense was once again led by Quinn B along with Chase H who had his first hat trick. Matteo M earned himself the Game Ball with his leadership + control at the face off X while Avery D and the tenacious defense held Rundlett to minimal scoring opportunities. A big shout out to Austin F and Jack W who scored their first career goal at HMS. Nice work boys!


Shea St. O went 3 for 3 driving in the winning run in the bottom of the 6th inning. Ashlyn E had two hits with one being a double. Emily N got it done on the mound, striking out 10 and giving up only one hit. The Hawks won 3-2.


Girls Lacrosse had another win while playing at home against Rundlett 17-0. There were many girls that had their “first goals” of their middle school career such as: Gracie P., Abby E., Nora B., Elizabeth P., and Eloise J with other goals scored by Brinn O, Julia F., Sydni B, Emelia S., and Lea M. Our defense, led by Emily S, Catalina S, Willow and Tessa M. held strong any time the ball was on the defensive side of the field causing many forced turnovers and moved the ball to the offensive side of the field. Tess M had 3 amazing quarters and Emmy E held strong in the 4th.


On opening day for the baseball team, the Hawks suffered a loss to Londonderry. Despite the loss, playing well for HMS was Landon C, Patrick K and Tyler G. Come support your baseball team on Tues when they play their 1st home game of the season at Depot Road vs Raymond at 3:30.


HMS track had their 1st meet at PA. Boys + girls teams showed great sportsmanship + team spirit. Naomi took first in both the 400 + 800 while Maya, Amelia and Brandon D improved their times. Up and coming newcomers were Michael, Danny, Norah and Riley. Great job team.


G LAX had another great game against Londonderry. Brinn O was the lead scorer with 7 goals!! Other scorers: Lea M, Emelia S, + Julia F. Sydni B. led the team with assists. Goalie Tess M. played another great game while Emmy E. debuted in the 4th quarter with some great saves!


What a GREAT art show tonight! Thank you Mrs. Downey...you inspire our students to create amazing works of art! Caden W. stands in front of his piece and admirers are checking out the HMS masterpieces!



HMS STEM students had a great time collecting specimens from around our school and looking at them under microscopes!





April Fool's Day at the middle school. Students were greeted with Holiday music as they entered the building and then had to find Waldo!
