The Girls B Hawks basketball team lost a hard fought semi final game to #1 seed Amherst 28-35. The Hawks trailed very close behind a tough Amherst team for almost the entire game. Early in the 4th quarter, the Hawks tied it up and battled for the win. Unfortunately in the last few minutes of play, Amherst sunk three back to back three pointers to win the game. The girls had an awesome season and should be so proud of how far they made it. A big shout out to our two captains, Eloise and Abby, for leading this team with devotion and spirit. Great season girls. Go Hawks!

The Hawks gave them all they could handle as they played an inspired game both offensively and defensively. Overtime saw several Hawks foul out, yet they continued to battle. Eventually Litchfield pulled away for the hard fought win 65-58.
