On behalf of our student body and staff I am thrilled to welcome you to Hampstead Middle School. Our school has a long-standing tradition of educational excellence for students in grades five through eight. We are honored to be consistently recognized as a Spotlight School by the New England League of Middle Schools, a testament to our dedication to delivering impactful, research-based learning experiences.

At Hampstead Middle School, our mission is to offer challenging educational experiences that empower each student to reach their full potential in a dynamic world. We foster a collaborative community that tailors programs to meet the individual needs of every student. Our educators embrace our core values including positive communication, honoring the child, relationship and team building, acting with integrity, and promoting a culture of collaboration. These values guide us in providing a supportive and effective educational environment. 

In addition to our strong academic programs, HMS offers a variety of athletic opportunities. Our fall sports include field hockey, boys' and girls' soccer, and cross country. During the winter season, students can participate in boys' and girls' basketball, cheerleading, and volleyball. Spring sports feature baseball, softball, golf, and track and field.

Beyond athletics, HMS provides numerous clubs and activities to enrich the student experience. Music enthusiasts can join various band and chorus activities or participate in the school musical. Our diverse array of clubs includes Engineering and Robotics, Sunshine Squad, Anti-Bullying Club, Student Council, Ski Club, and the National Junior Honor Society.

On a personal note, I am a lifelong resident of Hampstead, a proud graduate of Hampstead Middle School, and a parent of two children who have gone through our School District. I have firsthand experience with the high-quality education our district provides. We offer a safe, nurturing environment where students are supported and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Hampstead’s strong sense of community and collaboration between our school and families is truly exceptional.
